What happened in chapter 24 - the epilogue?
Her family determines that it’s not Jay who has her, because Olivia landed safely in San Diego, according to the air line, and Jay was being held in jail for possession at the time.
Meanwhile, Olivia comes to and finds out she’s with Elton. He explains to her that he picked her up at the airport and had a breakdown about Lorenzo and insisted he stop and he get her alcohol, and begged him not to take her home. He says he offered to take her to the cabin and thought it sounded perfect, and that they already called her family who was perfectly fine with her staying with him for a few days. But Olivia knows her brothers would never react that way.
She fights Elton and tries to escape, but the cops burst in with her brothers and Lorenzo, who have managed to find her and rescue her.
Lorenzo feels guilty, certain he caused Liv’s breakdown that led to her buying that 2am flight but Vince insists Elton had been planning this for some time. He’s determined to win her back and has been texting Olivia every day, but she’s too scared to talk to him. But Isaiah convinces her to go to him.
They get back together, and Olivia moves in with Lorenzo. In the epilogue, Lorenzo proposes to her in a very Lorenzo fashion.
